Sifting through the design fog until you start seeing light in the distance. These were just some of my drawings, there are even more from other members of the concept team.

These are absolutely fantastic! The texture and attention to detail for that many outfits is both impressive and painful haha
If you don't mind me asking, do you have any special brushes you use to get that chainmail and buckles and things so perfect? I always struggle with making them look that neat and consistent

It's already in the game. End-tier crafted chest piece, with all mods (not the best stats, but best look for sure) with "Inquisitor's hat" or something.

Of course I hide my hats because... it makes you bald with a weirdass leather cap. I wish people didn't hate hair with hats on games so much.

The second one from the last line is just so much better than the actual armor i mean look at it. Specially the helmet. It's a gorgeous armor.

I think most of it would also have to do with "style" of the drawn character's physique. In the game (in most games), the models are made to be realistic, which is not necessarily a boon in all cases. Therefore, the armor would also look "realistic", taking away a lot of the aesthetics of the conceptual drawings.

But, hm, something about the Flames of the Inquisition armor seems off and I think it only looks good on male Qunari. Others seem to wear someone else's armor, probably the said male Qunari Iron Bull looks badass wearing it
I thing that second armor could look great in every race and gender. (It also looks sober because of the dark colors and more appropriate.)

I'll tell you what- i played the game for about a 100 hours and nowhere could i find the hat from the last armor. In-fact, i couldn't find that last armor at all. I played a rogue, and when i got cole, i absolutely loved his design. I wanted that same look for my inquisitor, but nothing. Damn shame, because that one looks the coolest for me. A sort of Van Helsing kind of look.

The crafting recepie for the hat is bought in the Western Approach from a Mabari if I remember correctly. Check the wiki to be sure

My sincere congratulations for such an amazing work. I really look forward to play the game anyday now, and I will undoubtedly buy the artbook after that. Your concepts always inspire me to keep drawing, and you only keep improving and surprising me again and again. And... well, I could keep ranting about how awesome and talented you are, but that would be too boring and cliché right? So... yeah. The point is that you are currently on my top 5 of fave artists right now.
