I joined a group on FB called Rainbows for Peace and Comfort which was created right after the Orlando Pulse shootings. We stitchers (and hopefully more to join as word gets out there) stitch up blocks to be made in to quilts for the families of the slain, the survivors, the first responders...there is quite a list! Patterns have been donated by designers, created by other stitchers, and all are being stitched with love as we speak. It shouldn't matter what your "thing" is, what matters here is to give comfort and show love to those who are still here. Peace and LOVE!

The premise of our group is as follows:

"This group is formed to help bring comfort and peace to all those impacted by the Orlando tragedy. We are a group of Cross stitchers who will be making quilts and other items for all. Please join us by stitching, supporting us and watching the projects grow."
