Description
A prototype painting for a children's book I am noodling on in my sketch book. I actually did some research for it while I was in the Grand Camines. Not the right island to do it on but it is cheaper then going to Hawaii.Related content

this an inspirational holding on a new children's book. I can't wait to dig into it. But I don't have it fully in my head yet.

I had a lot of fun painting the lava god. It is sort of a thought holder on a much bigger project.

Wow, what a wonderful picture. I love the whole concept, the clean lines, and the contrast between the two colors. great job!

Thank you. It is sort of a demo for a bigger book. IT sort of just holds my thought on the book. Glad you like

The teeth are very gnarly and the brightness of the lava against the dark statuary(if that is a word) makes for some awesome storytelling!!

He is actually a prototype of a children's book I will hopefully find the time to make some day. He would be the big brother of the main character of the "The Littlest Tiki God."
