Description
So I haven't put anything up in a while because I haven't painted in a while. I have been working to hard with my paying job and haven't gotten any time to paint. Well tonight instead of working on the work I brought home I played with my new toy. The Clintiq that I just got today. It is great. this painting isn't finished but I am happy with how it has come along in just a few short hours.Related content

I think it is cute how she looks like she is knitting with a spool of thread!! I also love how you add a glow to the thread...showing her spinning some magical life to weave such delicate petals!! the works!!

I like a lot the colors and the concept of the fairy who sews the flower.

I like how you placed the light source in the center.

Thanks I had this idea years ago but never put it down. It was when all of my female friends were knitting. The Clintiq is a great Toy/tool. I hadn't realized how tiring the mental acrobatics of working on a wacom pad when painting was. I find I can paint for much longer time with much more satisfaction when I am working on this. Hey you might be able to buy one too some day. I don't recommend how I did it which was working for 4 weeks with 60+ hours. But hey. Take care.

Yeah, I bet its much easier. I don't even have a tablet. Sometimes I use a usb i-pen, but most often I use a mouse. I saw a demo of the Clintiq and I almost wet myself with excitement. Of course, when I saw the price of it I whimpered in agony. Maybe someday though.
And hey, sometimes the best pictures are ones that have been floating around in your skull for eons.

wow, Painting with a mouse is rough. It is like making art with a block of soap. I did it for a bit 4 or 5 paintings it took forever. I would recommend a wacom pad. you can buy a small one for cheep. they aren't the end all answer but the 4x5's are only a 100$ and you will thank yourself almost immediately. And you are totally right about the fermented ideas being some of the best.
