Oh no problem.
The shapes are drawn with the pen tool (so they can be infinitely scaled) and the printing distortions are from a splotchy brush and then used on a Layer mask. With the brush, I can partially erase the visibility of anything that has a layer. Think of grease spots on a piece of paper. The paper is still solid, but you can see through the areas where the grease is applied.
This will be one of the things I will include in the Photoshop tutorials I am developing. It may be a while until you see them.

I aim to revolutionize the English language, to be honest. I often make up words and expressions. Mostly, it's for the reactions.
I wonder how 'geek', 'nerd', 'dork' and such would look if they could be depicted via color spectrum? Could be interesting.
The new Doctor Who series is pretty amazing. I...I actually haven't seen any of the original episodes from the original series, but I will eventually. Thanks to an old friend of mine, I have the entire new series on DVD. I'm catching up with season 3 before 4 starts next Sunday.
