Flash would be the perfect choice for Dom. I'm not one for the FlashxTwilight ship so in my way Twilight wouldn't be Maria. I could see a friendship between Shining and Flash though! Kinda seeing how both of them are Royal Guards.
But I think the main question is being missed... WHO WOULD BE THE COLE TRAIN!
I got one more Gears idea to come but I want to do a comic (or 2) next.
Also I saw Gears of War is free on Xbox Live till I think the 15th. Go get it the series is awesome!

At first I was like "This is perfect," but then I saw the chinstrap beard and suddenly I was like "DIS. DIS IS PERFECT."
Cole Train is easy. He'd be Coal Train, former train-puller turned all-star athlete (after the advent of steam engines put him out of business). And Baird would be... I dunno, Dairy Bread?
