Ok...so this picture needs a little explaining.For one, the title of the picture is from one of my favorite Evanesence songs...one part in particular

All that's left of yesterday.
And to explain why that applies to this picture, there are a few things different about Eris..for one, her wings are different...and secondly she is crying...something she just doesn't do. In this picture she is a ghost..something that is hard to convey unless you know the situation...she has returned briefly to speak with Silas, the man whose life she destroyed...and for whom she laid down her own life to save his. (Silas is a dragon character belonging to )
And...that's all.
Those aspen trees took for ever...

In this, is Eris based slightly on Amy Lee? There's something about this that reminds me of her, lol
But I agree on trying to make something appear a ghost. It's rather hard to do, along with perspective and hands.

This looks so amazing! The aspen trees, even though they took you awhile, look so amazing! They have a real japanese feel to them! I love it. THen her eyemakeup! I can't believe that's all markers! So amazing! And then I can actually see the gold in her wings which buy the way, look so amazing with her gray and black color scheme.
All in all, this is by far, the best you have ever done. I am so in love with it! Very very VERY nice work!

I'm so glad you like it! I was very happy with the line-art and I didn't expect to like the color version much, since I rarely do.
I'm humbled that you like it so much! The aspen trees just about killed me, as I've said but I'm happy with the outcome...I'm also happy you think that they look Japanese because that's what I was going for!
