It's called constructive criticism and it's vital to helping someone develop their style of drawing, writing, animation.  If you react this way to criticism of someone else's work I can only imagine how you react to something of your own creation.

The point of criticism is to be helpful, no matter how much it hurts. One does not have to be as good of an artist to give criticism. So what if he/she doesn't draw the comic? That doesn't make him/her less adept at giving advice. Personally I'd be grateful if someone tried to help make my stuff better, even if it hurt a little. No pain, no gain, right?
