But Rarity said in one of the previous pages that she's 16, so it doesn't matter much that Fluttershy is older because girls don't usually grow anymore at that age. Besides, this is a different universe, so they might not have the same age.
I think their height is fitting in this comic. Rarity and AJ are taller to give the top model and tough girl vibe, respectively, and Rainbow is shorter to sell the idea that she is very agile. The others have pretty much the same height.

Of course they don't have the same age, they're adult ponies on Equestria and have jobs and stuff. Besides, I wasn't complaining about the character design, I just tried to clarify the statement Nehcroskull made.

Excellent character interpretations, as usual. Your take on Fluttershy is less obviously shy than most, which I think gives her more depth. I'm genuinely intrigued by Applejack's callousness...she's obviously protective of Fluttershy and Spike, otherwise she wouldn't have interfered. Seems like a Knight in Sour Armor.
