Sorry, sarkasm helps no one, but I found that offensive, also, you have talent for posing characters and kudos on making a full comic, that's a feet, but you humanized mlp, a propperty that isn't yours, and managed to make it more vapid than it already was. A suggestion. You have talent. Why not try your hand at something original? Something yours? Also, look into narrative and story telling and try to find the things that give characters "appeal" and avoid the vapid-character and marry-sue traps.

I'm sorry this was scathing, but this was on the front page and I find it a bit offensive as it's really not very good, and judging by your talent, you could do faaaar better if you got out of fangirl/fanboi mode and really saw your potential.

If you don't EARN the right to have your opinion TAKEN SERIOUSLY, than I suggest you either work a lot harder to make your opinion something that the people you're trying to convince your snotty entitlement of seem more understandable through use of logic and backing up your worthless shit talking, or you can just shut the fuck up in the first place.

I didn't tell her what to do. I made a sugestion. I am well within fair play and good commenting to do so. You don't agree with my suggestion? Noted. But then, this comment wasn't for you, was it, and if the artist doesn't agree, that's up to her/him. My suggestion still stands and yes I do have a right to make it. I just got done explaining this to another deviant, but here it is once more for yourself. Just as an artist has a right to do what ever they want, this is a public forum and critiques are WELCOME here, this is something many on DA have forgotton (I was here veeeerrry early on, child, so I actually remember that). Just as an artist has a right to post what ever they chose, a viewer has a right to what ever reaction they take away from it.

That said, after I posted this, I did feel it was on the harsh side. I should have worded it nicer, but this was a reaction, and an honest one. That is fair, and whether or not is was nice is irelevant and I did not "order" the artist to do anything, but rather stated my own dissapointment at the artists choice and my own hope that the artist makes a different one. Those are personal feelings and out of what, 500+ comments, I'm the one saying this? I think if I'm taken seriously, then the artist already feels this way, otherwise, I'll be blown off, which is ok, but what I won't be, is silent about my own personal opinions because it might anger those who disagree. We are talking about artists and free expression here, well, free expression goes further than what the masses agree with.
