ok, thank you. Actually, you are actually willing to make real points instead of just raise baw and butthurt and attack me as a person. I appreciate that. That said, there's a difference between the harry potter fandom and the mlp. The th9ings I have seen/heard is frankly often at best societally unacceptable and at worse, yes, pedophillic. Now, as stated before, I'm gay, and furry, so I know well what it is to have what you are classified as "all bad" But that isn't what I did here, but I do have a problem with these grown men that not only watch and like the show, but deffend in like it's a religeon and obsess over it and act like idiots because of it. that is what the guy nI was argueing with was doing. I'm a good, openminded person, aslong as I agree with your thoughts, ideals, poractices, opinions, and likes. I'm sorry, but no. As for holding water, all my statements thus far hold a great deal it seems, because they are getting reactions. No one got reactions by sayinbg something that didn't have a granual of truth. Anger at a statement comes from one's worry that a statement might be true about them, so here's what you should do. Go away, think about your life, yourself, ask yourself "Do I have an unhealthy obsession that is making me lash out at others and act irrationally?" If yes, make a choice to step back, like what you like, but cool your jets.

Best advice I can give ya and after that, your butt-hurt is really, YOUR PROBLEM. k? k.

as stated above, I realized too late that my statements were harsher than they needed to be. that said, people react to art. I have a right to react. Never once did I make a cvlaim that my opinions were facts. I actually always claimed they were my opinions. Soooo, no, not really mate. I was harsh, but I was still very much within fair game. People are offended because I dissagree with the masses and they feel threatened because they think I dissed them. I knew nI would catch backlash and I was quite frankly, prepaired to defend that. Idiots aside honey, Your fandom, especially at the Broniecon was reported to be the absolute worst group anyone has ever posted. From making pseudo-sexual remarks towards the UNDERAGE VA's of the characters, to how the fans treated the staff at both the con and the hotel make rabid chimpanzees look like saints. You can't group us all together like that; it's incredibly unfair. They were likely either trolls, or just a minority. I, for one, heavily frown upon the practice of what they call "clopping"; I find it ruins the wholesome nature of the show and its wonderful message.

Just remember that we aren't ALL like that. if it weren't for this show, my life would not have taken the turn it needed to take.

Couple suggestions:
1. The correct English idiom, in regards to Applejack's insult: "dumber than a box of rocks".
2. When calling out to a young unknown woman, it's usually "Miss!", so Spike would say, "Hey, Miss, wait!"

1. You got that from family or surrounding? Cause I'm in no way even American, I just checked some southern quotes and phrases, and this one popped up a couple of times on multiple sites, so I thought it was safe.

2. That's the problem with literal translations...the original is written in Spanish, and in that case I stuck to the literal one. I did stray heavily right before that, because AJ needed her southern English, so I kinda felt guilty about it and went back to literal right after that.

I hear "box of rocks" more often, and Google comes up with "box of rocks" (and "bag of hammers") before "bag of rocks". It's possible that "bag of rocks" is more common in some areas. Don't change it if you don't want to.

Actually, AJ's dialog feels more natural than anyone else's! I don't think you need to worry about being literal. Languages just don't match up that way. A good "free" translation can get the meaning across better than a literal translation, because it's translating more than words. It's translating culture, attitude, perspective, and so on. It might be normal in Spanish to address a young woman as "Girl", but in English, unless she's a small child, it's derogatory. We'd use an honorific. (Which honorific is a whole 'nother can of worms.)

By the way, I respect that you're translating at all. English is a tough language, and translation is a tough job! Thank you for the work you've put into this comic. You're helping it reach many people who might never had known about it otherwise.

Well, in Germany, "Miss" has been stricken from official addresses for BEING derogatory...it's Mrs, whenever you address a woman, period. Then again, the German "Miss" is "Fräulein", which means "little lady"...and yeah.

I always try my best and am glad mauroz accepts what I send him. Nothing more.

Honorifics are so weird! "Miss" and "Ma'am" are acceptable. I think for official business it's always "Ma'am", but in this context, Spike could use either, depending on where he's from. (In Nebraska, it would be "Miss".) "Lady" is rare, though I believe it's used in New England. "Little lady" would get you slapped. :-D
