I think I might be slightly out of my art block. Or should I say I'm slowly getting it back as the stress brought on my exams is leaving. It's a good thing.So I decided to draw my character, Jericho. He's very happy to see you. I wanted to draw a scene of him sorta going on a rampage probably in the laboratory they were being tested on. After his experimenting on, Jericho went from being a very calm and collective person to someone with a very short fuse that could be triggered in an instant. He hated the idea of being used like some guinea pig for these peoples sick purposes so I wouldn't doubt if he would end up getting loose and trying to take revenge on the people who did this to him.
I've really wanted to try drawing something new since I feel like all my work has been a bit repetitive lately. So I hope you like this.
And FYI, his jaw isn't too long. He's a thylacine! If anything it might be too short. www.petermaas.nl/extinct/speci…
Also, I put a little cameo in the pic. Probably couldn't really happen since their experiment numbers are so far apart, but I wouldn't allow logic to ruin this for me.

But this picture is truely amazing. I love how his jaws are for some very odd reason. The background is like wow. To me this picture reminds me like a movie scene you know? On wow everything looks so pro. The rust, the spill of the chemicals, basically everything looks really damn good Panda. I cant draw anything looking so pissed that it turns out to be cute. It really makes me mad damnit :<
I still freaking love how you color. I will figure it out some damn day when I find the time to open up photoshop with a decent picture.

Art block...? ART BLOCK? xD WTF this is AMAZING for an art block you sillybutt! When I have art blocks I can't draw anything.
Seriously though I really like this. +_+ It's so well drawn from the perspective of him rampaging towards you in addition to the background's perspective and crazy detail. It definitely gives the feel of a horrible place that makes one go mad with anger. Just with the color and tones.
And Jericho's shadow is also awesome how's it's against those cages.
I love your backgrounds so much because they're just so fitting with your characters. I have trouble using lineart in my backgrounds. I love seeing one's like this where there's actual THINGS in the background that're fun to look at. 83

Nooo, I had an art block before xD This is me on a slightly less art block so it took me forever to complete =3=;; I'm really happy you likeit though Nestly! And yeah, Sorry I killed Croicket xD I totally added him last minute and had a hard time positioning him right behind those bars since I imagine him being so tiny and those bars are huge. x3;;

Uuh, I think maybe about 3 hours to do Jericho, 1 1/2 hours just to think up a background and then about 10 hours to sketch, line and colour the whole background. |8; I did Jericho and the background on two seperate days though since I was originally going to post this with just Jericho. |D But honestly I'm so sick of seeing plain no BG'd peices on my pfront page everytime I visit it :C That and I need to practice on my Backgrounds and get some good qualitied peices done for my portfolio. x3

Aww man Panda, this is truely & utterly amazing. Jericho look sweet, the pose, the expression, the anatomy, everything is outright awesome. He is one sexah Thylacine <333
The pose itself is amazing, and the anatomy you pulled off in it as well. Perspective too. Those paws are awesome, I love the two front ones especcially, they look so real! I alos love the folds and creases you put into the face to enhance the expression, and the neck and where his ribs so. Makes it really realistic.
I also love how his eyes stand out in the green against black and brown, so cool.
The shading is amazing, as always, and I really like how you put more fur shading detail on the more fluffy parts of is body like the tail, neck, and chest instea dof everywhere. That looks awesome.
The anatomy of the jaw and teeth and tongue is amazing as well. Those teeth look really sharp XD I definatly wouldn't want him to be trying to take bites outta my arms or something o.o'
And all those details you added just make this picture so muhc cooler, like the spots & detail on the tongue, the shading and highlights on his bandages, collar, and arm bracelets, the claws, the fur smudging detail from his dark brown markings to light under markings, everything! He even has a shadow! XD
And I haven't even made it to the background yet! c:
The background...is...amazing. The whole feel, details and havoc it seems that he has created is just awesome. The little creature behind bars in the corner is adorable, and the expression is sweet, and the sillouette behind bars is creepy and cool X3 The detail in the bars and stone floor, walls and supports is awesome as well.
The green capsules with creture sin them in the background make the mood a bit creepy, and they look awesome. I love the details on the glass. The nocked over table and broken flask and test tube lets you know that Jericho's on a rampage X3 The way you did the blue and green splashes all ove rhte floor looks awesome. And the table XD The tablet is awesome. Lol
