Description
This is more of a matte concept rather then a finished piece. Maybe someday I'll take it further. It's made over the weekend. Only Photoshop.Check the link for Making Off:

Very cool. Kinda reminds me of a cross between a scene in Pirates of the Caribbean and a 30StM music video. Odd, I know, but those are two of my favorite things so seeing them crossed, however unintentionally, is pretty cool. Cheers!

that's not 3d, it's all photo manipulation, read what Dragos Jieanu wrote in his description, Photoshop only . I'm his colleague, of course i know it can't be modelled in 1 weekend, but it's not 3D.

One of your better compositions, simple usually is better. But I have one question, why is there no shadow for the boat?

Improbable that this whole process only took a weekend. You must have had all the images and materials ready just for this image. Just finding that material in the correct perspective and color ambience would take a few days.
Very good picture, though.

Maybe, but he must have an enormous library of different objects and photographs and he must have previously found the right material with the right light settings, then started operations in Photoshop.
He didn't model all that in a weekend, I can assure you that as a 3D professional.
