Yeah, I didn't know about slayers when I wrote the story, but they have a lot in common. They are both mages, tomboyish, short tempered and greedy ! ^^.

True; but to be honest, I'm liking your concept more. ^_^
One word of caution though; Slayers made a common mistake of over using Lina's 'Dragon Slave' technique; it was something that she had to use to incinerate a powerful dragon or demon lord; but then she would turn around and use the same technique on towns people in a fit of rage, and though the town would be destroyed, no one would get hurt, or if they were hurt, it was never mentioned, and simply laughed off as collateral damage; then a villain would do the exact same thing, and it was just so terrible; I highly advise against that.
I'm not advising against using collateral damage as a skit, it's just that if the technique can incinerate a demon lord, then it can incinerate towns people as well. ^_^;

Well, I think the point is Tild is making essentially collateral damage. Also, my comic is more focused on the character's daily life, and there isn't a demon lord behind each door ! ^^
