A while ago, I made a comic called Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite: The True Story, where I basically said that the reason why no X-Men or Fantastic 4 characters were in the game was because of Disney saying no as to not give FOX free publicity.

But as we all know, Disney recently bought FOX and they now have the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic 4. So it's very likely we will be seeing them in the future as DLC.

Now to be fair, it was rumored that the characters would have came anyways, even if Disney didn't buy FOX or not, but this just further makes the makes the likelihood of them appearing more possible.
