Ever since the US Embassy moved to Jerusalem, the Arabs, leftists, and BDS have been throwing a pissing fest. Only one of my friends from Jordan threw his own pissing rant to me in a pm, so I did my best to calm him down by explaining to him, it's not as bad as you might think it is. Then a small argument ensued.The first thing he did was send my clip from a podcast to "prove" his point. So I sent him a few my resources to counter his. His response: "Read a history book and stop listening to media lol"
Oh, Oh wow. Say the guy who listens to podcasts on YouTube.
The hypocrisy is astounding!
Long story short, I let him have his butt-hurt moment.
I find it funny how a lot of Arabs get pissed off when non Arabs use media, but they themselves use the same media. It's fucking hilarious.

BDS means Boycott Divest and Sanction. It's meant for countries that specifically lack in human and civil rights, yet it's always targeting Israel.
He was just mad that the US Embassy got moved to Jerusalem. I'm not exactly thrilled about it either, except his my reasons vary greatly. I also wasn't making a huge stink about it like he was.
He was arguing that the land was stolen from Palestinians, and how evil Israel is etc, etc.
I'm not surprised Jordanians typically have these sort of sentiments. I just wanted him to chill before it got out of hand.
