I've been leaving in tipi/tepee for a while in south of Spain...but the real one - with fireplace inside...my first child is born in tipi...

I had help from midwife,that also was living there and had her baby as well born in tipi...actually lot of womans give birth in that place...it had even nickname "Babyficio",hehe...-(original name Beneficio)

Yes,she offered me help,cause she knew I coulden't pay her so I coulden't ask my self...
That difficult periode was just when I was pregnant first time,and we where traveling trough Europe...my boyfriend didn't come to place we where heading to by autostop and just came back to Poland with his friends,and we where sudenly alone - me and other girl... I could have go back as well,like she did in the end of vacations,but I didn't want to go with my trubles back on the lap of my mother... I prefered to find a cave and give birth there...
When I was 8 month pregnant I get to that "village" with tipis and there I met mine current partner...
3 years later we rent little house near by and had our kid there... He was the one who assisted me at the birth,that was our choise and we did learned all about to be prepeared...another 3 years later we where littlebit farthere in Spain and did the same again,we had another child,so mine third and his second...
Beneficio is in spanish Sierra Nevada,there is even website about this place,so You can check it out,but now there is really lot more people and it changed couse of that...when we where there it was much more familiar and peacefull...no dogs aloved and absolutle no alcohol!...there was 2 meals per day in "Big Lodge" -(really huge tipi,where could sit 30 to 50 people in circle around fire),and everyone should have contribute somehow to functioning of that sisteme...there was little garden even...
Ow,on the foto are names,so You will find easy knowing that Daga it's not only short for my name,but in my cause also it is first two letters of my name and first two letters of my surname...hehe

I remember passing this on Route 66. That has to be the coolest drive in America. I love how much of stuff like this there is to see on that route. Awesome shot!

Yes, but the attractions are spaced fairly far apart, and then sometimes you get to a town where there is stimulation overload!
