This photo was taken last year (2014).  But those classic cars are part of a collection owned by the motel.  They don't belong to guests. . .

Yes, I've been dying to see that place for years!  This style of roadside lodging became very popular in the US from the late 1940s through the mid-1970s, and now it's making a comeback!   One of the housekeepers let me look inside one of the "tepees," and they are a little bigger than you might think!
