Yes, that would have been me, standing on the median of Park Ave at E. 41st St.  Not to mention that I was fumbling with my new travel tripod that I had never used before.  I wouldn't have tried this, except for the fact that it was nearly midnight, so the traffic wasn't as crazy!

Well, it's an awesome shot! And since traffic's always moving up there, that'd be the only way to get it.  

Couldn't imagine you in a vehicle and cars honkin' at ya... too much pressure...
