CATEGORIES CONFUSE ME :[So I finally made a reference sheet for Demon. I'm not really happy with it for a number of reasons, but I've spent way too much time on it already and if I keep tweaking it I'll never be finished. I hope it's both easy to understand and actually helpful. Oh yeah, it says November on it because that's how long I've been sitting on this thing; actually I made some changes this month and then I couldn't decide which date to put on it. ANYWAY.
Funny how I set out to make a model sheet and then I drew him really off-model. I don't like the colored one; his face is kind of off and his tail is too fluffy.

He's based on a dream I had in 2004. He looked like a cross between a coyote (or maybe a fox) and a cheetah; I woke up, drew what I remembered of him, and then forgot about him for a year. At some point in 2005 I came across the sketch and decided to make a character out of him, and he grew from there. He's changed a lot in appearance; sometime I should post the old development sketches. At one point he looked like a llama. XD
I think his eyes are blank because I couldn't remember what they looked like in the dream and then I liked the effect.
