So in my list of rules it literally says "animal characteristics are fine as long as the face shape stays human."

Look, I do what I want.

The commissioner was looking to create a species of cuttlefish people for a sci-fi environment, and y'all, I love me some cephalopods. I wasn't turning that down due to some silly self-imposed rules. (But seriously, I normally don't do animal faces, so the rule stays.)

It was a really fun challenge working on getting emotions across when they have no mouths, noses, or eyebrows. It was also really fun being able to play around with the chromatophores and have the same character appear in so many colours and patterns.

I tried to avoid any "bone bumps" (ankles, wrists, elbows, etc., with the exception of some subtler collar bones) since they're invertebrates, and while I'm not sure how well it came across I was trying to give them the impression of "dense squish" as opposed to normal flesh. (If you've ever held a grumpy squid you know what I mean.)

Also, throwing professionalism to the side, can we take a moment to appreciate the volume of that butt? Much squish. Very volume. Wow. Definitely the best butt I've ever drawn.

Anywho. I had a lot of fun with this one. The holo fabric accents, the cyberpunk leather, the butt, and the takoyaki were all a blast to work on (and I definitely ended up eating takoyaki twice in the process of making this). Thank you for another commission!
