Less than three months until Halloween

You ever have an image in your head, trying to claw its way out, but the problem is you have no idea what it is? That was me with this picture.

I'd been wanting to "draw a witch" for the past week, but none of them were hitting the note I was looking for, and as a result the feeling wasn't going away. As soon as I drew the hat for this one, though, I knew I'd found it.

Hopefully this will help assuage my yearning for Halloween for another week or so. And if not...*breaks out the candy corn*

Recently I've been feeling like my art doesn't feel like mine. It's felt like someone else drew it, or like it was my drawing style from a few years ago and I was moving backwards. This one finally feels like the art I've been trying to make, so hopefully I'm back on track.

Anyway, the final two commission slots are paired and are both huge in their own right, so I know it will be a while before I can upload them, so I wanted to post something in the meantime.
