Description
Another design for the Mothership tabletop RPG. A much larger vessel this time, an asteroid mining vessel with a crew of 12 (4 bridge crew, 8 miners).Here is a simple mockup of the exterior, I definitely plan to make some deckplans for this.
The brown pods are fuel tanks
The small units with the yellow bands are escape pods (though I kinda cheated, they are smaller than they probably should be for this system).
The front end contains:
Bottom deck: Weapon emplacement (and possibly a spare cargo area for reloads, now the front end is larger!)
Middle deck: Airlock, workshop, medical bay and science lab, there is space for another room as well.
Top deck: Command Deck and computer core.
The rear sections each have 5 internal modules. They each have an external thruster and an engine module at the rear.
The bottom section houses a 4 module cargo hold.
The middle sections each contain a life support module at the rear, then one has living quarters for 4 crew and the other barracks for 8 crew more, plus a galley.
The top one houses 4 cryo-modules, with enough pods for the full crew.
The jump drive module is nestled between the four aft sections, and can't really be seen in this image.
