Description This was a quick photoshop edit of about 10 minutes.. dedicated to the Egyptians who stood in the face of tyranny and demanded their rights, i wish i was there to support them.

Egyptian by birth, proud by choice.

I wish I was there, too, even though I know I was there spiritually. Well done on the photoshop edit. Precious and appreciated.

lol You know , I've never ever studied anything in my whole entire life and I CAN type arabic easily..
And what's even more ironic is that If I ever decide to learn English it won't take me FOREVER , or much effort either.

No but seriously your Arabic is fine for someone who lives in Australia

ya i was always busy studyin qawa3ed and qira2a.. n they never really asked us to do any computerized assignments so i was never asked to type in arabic.. one day i gave it a shot n i found myself excessively slow.. considering my english typing speed is like 18 characters a second which is pretty good.
n ya thnx.. i do speak arabic fluently tho.. i visit egypt every summer for 2 months to go see my family n when i get there i speak with everyone in arabic not in english n i dont find it difficult at all

Yep I spend one month per year in Holland ( the Netherlands ) and I can's speak dutch and read it perfectly .. But when it comes to writing or typing I really suck
So What do you like better , staying in Egypt or staying in Australia ?

Not exactly what's bothering me. But yes that IS another thing.. considering i rock a mohawk.. i dont believe Egyptians would appreciate my hairstyle.. instead they'd judge me negatively.

The culture in general is not what i am accustomed to, my friends here differ from my friends in Egypt significantly depending on interests, hobbies, habits, points of views, mind sets n all.. so entirely different that if i picked my best friend from Egypt and got him to meet my best friend in Aussie they would not get along very well.

Apart from that i feel im a little overly mature compared to my friends in Egypt. i find that if i speak in a more sophisticated tone or dialect it seems to "offend" them, hence disabling my freedom of speech and self expression. And in Egypt there are hardly ever any famous concerts, art gallery shows, tattooists or graffiti artists... 90% of what composes my art scene does not exist in Egyptian culture... makes me feel rather weary sometimes. I do enjoy the mall hangouts, the card playing, the coffee talks, the restaurant groupings, the family gatherings.. they remind me of old times in Egypt and satisfy me to some extent, but the other wilder side of me hardly gets to show itself in Egypt which is quite saddening.

wow ! I've always wanted to have a mohawk like the one Rihanna has , but my parents would rather have me dead then let me do that.
I'm not allowed to have purple highlights either..

Well I don't have any Egyptian friends , All my friends Somalian or mixed ( half dutch half Egyptian ) because for some reason Egyptians think I'm rude..
And of course my interests differ the interests of the Egyptian girls at my class since they like " Shopping/Fashion/Gossiping/boys " and things that I couldn't possibly care less about.
And Egyptians schools literally kill every shred of Ambitious !! there's no challenge in that stupid education..
When I'm old enough , I'll go back and live in Holland insha'Allah
