This year, I discovered the books of Dean Koontz. I am currently reading Midnight, and just loving it!Last night, I was inspired to draw one of the "Boogeymen" in the story.
If you enjoy the small-town-with-a-dark-secret type of story with a science fiction twist, I wholeheartedly recommend this novel!
