"When you mention your not happy with how something turned out, however, * say nasty things about it or yourself, and that is what makes your art even better."

Oops, I meant to say "you don't say nasty things about it or youself", my bad.

I've waited so long for a chance to comment you on your comic (and your other art too), and now that I'm on DA, I am happy that I am now able too.
To start off, I must tell you how amazing your coloring skills are. The constant change in texture with the color pencils and expiramenting really give your work a great feel. All mangas I've seen (with the exception of yours) have only been done in black and white, and while that does give it an interesting effect, you took it a step further and used color to describe the mood of each panel. Very creative and, in my opinion, very professional.
Next, the panels. You take such care when you draw them. They flow so smoothly and make the comic easy to read. Your panels are just as creative as your coloring.
And the thing that stands out to me the most is your attitude towards your work. I have seen so many great artists put their artwork and themselves down by saying "My picture's stupid, I stink at drawing" which severly takes away the quality of their work, in my opinion. When you mention your not happy with how something turned out, however, say nasty things about it or yourself, and that is what makes your art even better.

Sorry if I sound like a really crazed fan. I don't mean to be.

Thank you.
Although somewhat flattering for me to hear it, because i myself still seek ways to improve myself, but I know it is out of your good will and true appreciation. ^^ I appreciate your sincere comment and appreciation to me as an artist, and my work.

I know of that problem, good artists bashing themselves, either to make themselves improve with their own harsh words, or to protect themselves from being flamed.... I understand how it is annoying and unnessary. If I see one I usually say something to hoping to help them stop that habit.
I had that before, glad I got rid of that bad habit.

Woohoo! What a way to end my exams; coming back and finding 20 pages of E-Depth waiting for me! You rock as usual and it's really interesting to see your own political commentary permeating your work. I'm looking forward to seeing the None Vs Metal Eagle fight, that will be damnably cool!
Keep up the good work and keep drawing, love!

I admit, it was a little difficult getting back into the swing of things when you started posting this again, but I kept reading and now everything feels smooth again. (note: I'm not saying anything changed in your story OR your pacing... just that I forgot where we left off )

... come to think of it... I should have just read a few previous pages back to catch myself back up, that would have been easier lol

I forget which page had it, but when you started using a new colouring style, I could really tell. That's really important since so much of my colouring improvements are because of watching your work, and if I see something new here, than that gives me something else to think about.

Is "red people" ACTUALLY a politically correct term? it doesn't sound like it... I (and this is just me) would prefer indian, not that that is politically correct either. But if being PC is important, than "native american" is the way to go.... of course, I don't know how much that really matters.

I rather use red people... not because it's politically correct, it's because that's how they like to call themselves.... some of them rather be called native american, others don't mind Indian, but I know Indian is not their name, and native American is not their name either, they are names other gave to them. They like using colors to describe people group, so that's what I do. Other wise, there is too many tribes for me to even give them a general name.

wow! I was so exsited when I saw them posted on DA again!! I miss Chris, but that's ok too. Yah for the new people!

As for the drawing style, I am not too sure about. For action it works great, but for gerneral frames I think it's a bit too hard. It does give a nice texture, like you said, but I am not sure for over all.

^.^; that's all I have to say for now.

When I read through your comics, it feels like I'm reading a professionals work. Now, I'm going to ask alot of questions that you've probably heard alot, but I'd mean so much to me if you could help the comic-maker-wannabe that I am.
How many years have you been doing comics?
On an avarage of pages, how many panels do you like out of the page?
Did it take you a long time to achieve that many good panels in a comic?
I ask this, because I've been doing a comic nonstop for about the last two months or so. Alot of the time I'm not satisfied with the pages I do, but because of a deadline I have I finish them anyway. X_o; But I've noticed as I've gone along that I've been able to draw faster, better, and more than I used to be able to before I started the comic.

How many years...
I finished my first 120 page manga at age 9-10, my first 500 at age 15. (but they are mostly in pencil or cheap pen, and i lost them) and before that I have cartoon strips. XD

So to start counting is started at age 10, that would be 13 years nearly 14.

On avarage pages.... ehhh... never counted them. lol~
I would say just keep it at a comfortable level, it's better to be bigger than smaller, because most manga get shrinked alot, so I have to plan my smaller panels wisely, they usually float among the bigger ones.

To understand the flow of the panels, you probably need the concept of basic art principles. if u need them i will post them for you.

I know. -_-b Not too pleasent overall, I am usually impressed if they reply me.
Most of the famous people will find fans to be somewhat annoying after they started to get attention like water, and forget to be patient and think of fans as human beings that supports them... usually fans become some sort of shadow, or pressure instead of support. I believe that could be one of the reason why they hardly answer, they don't want the burden and the trouble.

I love the colors here, like each panel has a different theme. The first panels are very blue, the next green, then yellow, then green and red in the bottom right. ^^ Nice!
