:/ i did very similar color application, cell shading. I think for Angel's to be better, I need to vary the color a bit more since she's so.... pink.
But the line art quality on Randy is different from Angel. He's done with a brush rather than the usual Micron pen.
My pitchbook is finished, it's about 20 pages, but my character profiles are not done, it was not required to have the whole cast in.

I like Randy's subdued color palette a lot more. Like you said, Angel's very pink. I also seem to favor the character on the right and information on the left in this case, as the overall effect is better on my eyes.
Ah, I didn't know that. That might be part of it as well.

I am not using the pitchbook as a product, it's just for the executives, Because its full of spoilers. 
Character profiles is required for pitchbook, it's got Logline, format, summary, cartoon world rules, character profiles, sample episodes, and other notes, like how it can be marketed and merchandised... etc.

So basically, they know all they need to know about it before they decide if the product is worth their time and money. It also sounds like a post-product after a show hits big, like those published guides to movies and TV shows.
Awesome. Pitchbooks sound like something that graphic designers would have a blast designing and putting together.

Sounds familiar. Only in my case, when I did my FSNS book for my senior year portfolio review, it was the kerning and leading (checking the spaces in between letters and sentences) that drove me insane. I spent 8 hours doing that alone and didn't get more than 3 hours of sleep until I had to go to work.
Not doing that again...for now, at least.
