I know that I'm really late on commenting on this tutorial and I am very sorry about that, but this tutorial as given me so much inspiration and it taught me things that I needed to know. I also looked at your manga E-Depth Angel and your work looks so professional. Thank you so much for helping me. Through out the tutorial you state measurements for borders and so on, but you never seem to mention which paper size you're taking about-is it the professional big size or simply the letter size?

paper size varies somewhat with different comic/manga publishers. Some even have their own papers. So as long as they are in porprotion, publishers can deal with even letter sized paper.
I personally will use slightly bigger like A4 to draw for publishers though.

I read the whole tut, and perfect timing! Im currently commisioned to do a 3 volume chibi manga for a girl in korea! and i wasnt very good with frames and used to use photoshop for my backdrops, but no longer!
