Great composition, but I think more attention should be given to colours... The passage seems to merge with the archway

the contrast too less
the sharpness too less!
second,
the paint!
i think you should add more darkness to the portal on the left,
in this way giving also a psychological touch to the theme,
the angles are good, sustaining the stair effect from right to left,
the blue nuances are well placed, i would put more of them in the left up corner to balance the whole

First, I know a photo is not too good, I always have a great problem with taking photos of oils. But I don Β΄t want to use postproces. I think, it would be even worse ... and even more unreal.
Second, you are probably right, I am too impatient and everything I do is spontaneous. I am not wondering about placing blue nuances planwise.
