Capturing the Demon King was one thing but turning him human was another. Abaddon wasn’t helping when she decided to crash the party by throwing you and Sam into the wooden walls of the rustic church while beating Crowley into a bloody pulp.
Holy oil and a fire show got rid of her easily, and Sam cleaned things around while you helped Crowley sit right side up again.

"Thank you, darling," he breathed out. You nodded in response, but you froze when you noticed his tone. It was soft and filled with gratitude as if he really meant it, but you shook the thought out of your head. “You did good back there, Moose. I'll deny it if you ever quote me, but I'm a proud man. I'm proud of you. And you as well, Kitten. Such a strong woman, that you are.” If that didn’t put a bit of pink on your cheeks, you didn’t know what else would.

Sam grabbed the spray paint and shook it while replying, “Thanks.”

“Hold on. Wh-what’s that?” Crowley tried to follow the older Winchester’s movement as he walked behind the demon.

“It’s what it looks like,” you said leaning against the wall with your arms crossed watching Sam repaint the red Devil’s Trap on the dark wood.

“Are you joking? I just saved your life,” he said in a bewildered tone, which caused you and Sam to look at each other the guy was hallucinating.

“Seriously?!” Sam asked walking back to the table preparing the next dosage of human blood.

“Seriously? Me, seriously?” You eyed at Crowley, who started to become uneasy in his chair. “We just shared a foxhole, you and I. We beat back the Tet Offensive, outrun the-the Rape of Nanking together! And still you're gonna do me like this?!” Without a word, the Winchester walked over to the Demon King, forcefully tilted his neck, and jabbed the syringe of human blood into him causing the King to scream with either pain or shock.
“‘Band of Brothers’? ‘The Pacific’? None of this means anything to you? All those motels, you never once watched HBO, not once?” You noticed this accent slowly dissipating from his words causing you to raise an eyebrow with curiosity. Sam had the same expression on his face to which you concluded that he had the same thought. “‘Girls’? You're my Marnie, Moose. A-and Hannah...she just...she needs to be loved. She deserves it. Don't we all...you...me…(y/n)...we deserve to be loved. I deserve to be LOVED! I just want to be loved.”

Suddenly, you felt your insides being crushed. Tears were forming around the linings of your eyes as you tried to fight them back. His dark but soft eyes turned to you. Your eyes locked onto his, and then you saw it.
