Description
Taking a break from failing at my current projects to splatter out a bit of fan art for the upcoming American McGee's Alice 2. (Technically called Alice: the Madness Returns.) [link]To say I'm looking forward to this game is an understatement. From the screenshots on the website, it looks as though Wonderland has gone from dark and weird and twisted to dark and weird and twisted AND DEAD. And the now-deceased card guards are strolling around visibly sporting all the stab wounds you gave them in the last game. That is BRILLIANT.

(BTW, Alice fansβ¦there are a lot of so-called "Alice 2 previews" floating around YouTube. These are fan-made; the official trailer is the one on the EA site, as linked above. Ye be warned!) (Although some of those fan trailers are admittedly pretty cool.)

The weirdest?Β Don't know, maybe the Diamond.Β It seems the least "skull-like" but it still manages to work.

This is a fantastic picture. You've captured the resurrected card guard perfectly, especially that stitching. I really like the face too, how it seems shrunken around the skull, that's a fantastically macabre touch.

Well, until the game comes out and we fan artists have more material to work with, there will probably be a lot of similar-looking works being made. Your take on the card guard design is cool too.
