I have two girls myself, and I have found myself thinking the same thing many times. Isn't it wonderful to be able to look back and remember and then to look forward with a childlike perspective?

That is a great picture! Hehehe...my sons looked like that a LOT when they were little guys! They met lots and lots of mud puddles. Sometimes we all looked like your son's picture, because I had a blast in the puddles with them. He sure is a cutie pie! (a cutie mud pie? )

i saw this photo and i aww'ed outloud and my boyfriend looked at the screen and said "that's a mighty muddy baby" and i just smiled and said "yesh it is." hehe.

its a good portrait as well. it captures that happy innocence of childern.
