SO wait some months and in winter take a trip to there. Frankfurt Airport is only about 60km from there
Thanks a lot!

Breath taking shot, it feels warm (due to the lights) yet cold (Snow in the foreground) at the same time.

Beautiful picture!
I'd say this one is better, like the 2/3 city, 1/3 sky composition

That is quite the lovely picture. I dunno why, but for some reason it reminds me of my hometown up to the north, probably because of the river I guess.

That's interesting!! Maybe it those fjord photos in the nigth and snow are more common than other photos of the north regions?!

this is definitely better. the other one shows too much of the sky, where there is nothing too interesting. the ground, on the other hand, is much more interesting. the horizon seems to need a bit of straightening. it's a tad inclined. I really love the tiny orange structures in all that blue. was this shot earlier in the night when the sky had not turned completely black?

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback! Interesting point of view. IN General i prefer shots with much of the sky included, but here you are totally right. The sky is too muddy and dark to give a real WOW effect. The shots were taken within 10 minutes i guess. I think it's just the fact, that the mass of orange is in a majority in this picture while the dark sky is dominating the other one.
Thanks!

Hey, I have been there! I prefer this version, because the lit town contributes much more to the picture than the night sky

I've been there so many times myself, but all I knew until now was the daytime beauty of the area. This blew my mind.
