Description Taken on the Rhein Nahe Crossing at Bingen / Germany. In Front you see Bingen, in the background the rheingau and Rüdesheim.

Was freakin' windy and cold up there. Almost blow over my tripod.

Dann wirds ja Zeit, auch mal in der Nacht dort hoch zu gehen Tagsüber is antürlich auch sehr schön - besonders, wenn sich im Rheintal Gewitter oder Regenschauer bewegen! Vielen Dank!!!

Gorgeous! I like how far you can see the lights in the distance. Is there a road going up the mountain where the few scattered lights are?

Thank you very much! It really was foggy this evening, Some snow and ice included. No, there is no road. On the top there is a monument - but there is a ropeway and the pylons of it have lights i guess!

Machen wir doch auuuuchhh HAb dieses Semester allerdings aufjedenfall einen Journalistischen Kurs, muss so nen Dortmunder Quadranten untersuchen, wennde dadrauf bock hast, können wir da sauf jeden fall auch machen.

Beim andren Kurs köntnte das sogar auch was für dich sein. Zum Fake und tieferen Sinn der Photographie. Da sind halt evtl INszenierungen auch ganz nett. ne

Sach ma an, ab wann du wieder Kapazität hast!

Ähm ja.Mappenschau ist im Februar oder so. War am 4.2. dieses Jahr, also danach die Mappe noch zu machen wird eher kritisch Aber sonst so Tag der offenen Tür gibts glaubich nicht, nur die Mappenschau da. UNd halt Mappenvorbereitungskurse und so mit Profs kannste immer wat aushandeln.

Ach ähm. Muss so 4 Plakate für Photoshop amchen mit so kack montagen und ähm njaa. muss nur gucken, wie ich jemanden aufnehmen, der auf der couch sitzt. einfach auf nem stuhl vor neutralen hintergrund irgendwie. einmal von vorne, einmal vonner seite einmal von hinten. einmal 45° damit ich das alles montieren kann Aber ähm, Dienstag ist die Prüfung, passt schon )

By the way it really reminds me on the town featured in Myazaki's "Owl's moving castle".

finde dieses btw auch besser als das andere, es leuchtet schöner, die farben sind ein mü wärmer allein schon durch die reflektion am himmel, bessere Composition...

I definitely prefer this one.
It is more 'immersive', so to say. Not sure how to express myself, but it's more balanced, better 'filled'.
The town is the main subject, and I can feel it here. Also, I can see the viewer's standpoint here, which helps imagine yourself in the role.
On the other one it feels like the main subject are the dark blue skies above the town, yet the town is the brightest thing in the photo, but it's marginalized. The other one just doesn't work for me, this one does
