Description
Taken on the Rhein Nahe Crossing at Bingen / Germany. In Front you see Bingen, in the background the rheingau and Rüdesheim.Was freakin' windy and cold up there. Almost blow over my tripod.

Am anderen mag ich dass man weniger Vordergrund (den Schnee) hat und hier finde ich es aber schöner dass man mehr von der Stadt sieht. Alles in allem würde ich dann doch eher zu dem hier tendieren, ist von der Bildaufteilung ausgewogener.
Aber ich find solche Licht&Nacht Fotos immer toll, mag die sehr

Despite the Schlagseite äusserst gelungen!
Dieses hier finde ich besser, weil ausgewogenere Bildaufteilung.

Welche Schlagseite denn? Ist etwas weitwinklig verzerrt zu den Außenkanten und nach oben hin, da ichs etwas nach unten gerichtet hab, aber im Mittelbereich ists kerzengrade. Leg mal ein Lineal an den erleuchteten Kirchturm und die Burg..

Das ist Selbstaustricksung bei dem Bild, die Hänge links sind nicht grade, sondern alle Hüglig, nur mit unterschiedlichem Neigungsgrad

I prefer this one, the warm tones of the townscape contrast well with the coldness of the countryside

Like this one better even though it's tilted as hell and the floor foliage is a bit distracting, but it has a lot of charm... I especially like it cos when people do these kinds of night photos, they do them of giant megalopolises which fill the frame completely... this one is of a (seemingly) smaller town and the surrounding emptier area gives it a certain perspective and, again, charm.

While that IS true, I don't think it's the distortion that's the problem... the horizon is very tilted throughout the width of the photo, while if it was distortion, it would either be a bit oval or straight, but the two ends of the frame would still have the horizon line (or curve) on the same level (y axis)... anyway, I didn't want to get into too much of a discussion, like I said, I still like the photo
