This argument is pointless... Worms eat anything... And so do maggots... Thats why they have compost bins... Because they can throw anything into it and they know the worms, (and flys which produce maggots) will eat it.

I recommended Google to you as an informative source where you might be able to do some research for yourself. If Google doesn't tickle your fancy, why not find an Encyclopedia, or go to the Library?
I had a compost bin too... In which I threw in old vegetation, scraps, anything, and yes even leaves. I put the worms in there, and they broke it down... You don't have to put worms in there, but they help to break down the waste faster. And fly's, hung around the bin all the time.
Here is the definition of what a compost bin actually is - Compost Bin: A closed container in which the controlled biological decomposition of organic matter, such as food and yard wastes, into humus, a soil-like material, takes place. Composting is nature's way of recycling organic wastes into new soil with the help of decomposers such as fungus, bacteria, worms and insects.
Now also, that quote uses Worms and Maggots as a metaphor. Here is the full statement. -

the maggots are what make those certain french cheeses. they're intentionally put in there for flavor...

ha ha, macaroni cheese is the greatest thing ever invented so i doubt i will last long cheese free, i used to work in a shop with 4 other people and left it logged in, needless to say they proceeded to troll anyone possible
