Description
Hey, it's everyone's favorite Marvel-based superhero runaways... if you exclude The Runaways (I like them both equally; don't make me choose). I've been meaning to doodle up a Cloak & Dagger piece for awhile now. I had fun with this.UPDATED: I put up a process for this piece on my Tumblr. [link]
Created with Pigma Micron & PITT Pens, Adobe Photoshop, and by digging through my longboxes.

Fantastic revamp! I especially like the design of Dagger's costume that cleverly solves the whole paradox of windowing (epitomized by the femme fatale parody Molotov Cocktease) in the costume tropes of superheroines. It actually makes her look more fierce! Bravo!

I can't take credit for the design - a few years ago this was actually used but for some reason it didn't hang around. I'm guessing that reason is it made more sense and covered up that extra 2% of flesh. I have a real problem with the logic-and-gravity defying other design.

Realistically, it would have to be a window of sheer material but that texture is hard to convey in most comic mediums. The only artist who goes that extra mile to do so is Joe Michael Linsner. This is the kind of Dagger that he would draw.

This is the cover for the issue #1 relaunch from Marvel, right? What?!? They're not relaunching Cloak & Dagger? WTF?! They should after seeing this! This is clearly Marvel cover caliber. Hands down. You need to talk to someone over there. Seriously. Well done, my friend!

Come on, Kojo, you're buttering me up. You need to borrow money or something? Thanks! And as always, I can send you the lineart if you're looking for something to color.
