Description
When I decided to take another shot at Zatanna, I had the basic pose in mind, with the hat and the surprised look. I realized I could play around with whatever was popping out of said hat - like, Osama bin Laden being chased by SEAL Team Six - but a lot more rabbits than expected made the most sense. Plus, it made me think back to Ryan Sook's cover for the Seven Soldiers miniseries years back. [link]So yeah, I did Zatanna + rabbit again. [link] But this time I got to work in the fishnets, so score. I promise that next time I draw Zatanna, I'll use a different magic cliche. Like her asking the Joker to pick a card, or reminding a supervillain about the two drink minimum.

Definitely like the face better than the other one. The red soles are a nice touch, too!

I think that makes them a specific brand of shoes, actually, but I wanted that flow of crimson (along with the small pop of color on the inside of her jacket, and her lips) subtly throughout the piece.

Love the shading on the face, the light source and everything you got going on in that smoke! You've got a lot of depth levels there and with the bunnies...masterfully handled. Props to you, McGone! Bravo!
