Description
not. i wish i could think of long titles with big words that mean nothing.these are three pages of history notes, which were dictated to me by the teacher, written consecutively, as i drifted more and more into sleep. the first one is normal writing (when i am trying to keep up with someone speaking). towards the end of number two, you see the "drift-off lines", where i lose consciousness for a second and go down. the third is me in a haze, not really awake anymore but still trying to get these notes down, which i will never look at again. cool.

actually i did fall asleep - that was one of the problems caused by the inattention. even if I liked what they were lecturing about and I wasn't tired, I fell asleep.

which is strange, because this happens to me because of how inactive I am, I fall asleep, while you would just lose attention.

Wow. I can only read the words "Germany" and "Republican". Alas, the ideas one could draw from those two words.... This is absolutely incredible! I need to work on my handwriting to achieve that schizophrenic Yorkesque style you have.

I used to that everyday in math class. Not becauuuuuuse of math but the teacher was so fucking boring. He was so boring and monotonous I didn't have any ounce creative spirit or doodling left in me so I was forced to sleep.
and i failed that class with otustanding pleasure

This happens to me a lot too. Usually it happens during some math class, and in addition to scribbling, i actually start to dream in and out and then i slap myself and look down at the paper, and i have half a page of jibberish and formulas and letters that make absolutely no sense at all
and then i turn it in

I am SO familiar with this problem, and I started cracking up in a public computer lab, people looking at me like I'd gotten an acute case of the crazies. Which is possible. But I love this.

you have supremely wonderful writing. i never know whether to complain about mine or stand by it proudly. but seeing this kind of thing makes me proud. let's call it arty, or something

Heh. That is interesting, though the image isn't big enough to see the actual words.. I always enjoyed nodding off briefly in class (couldn't be more than 10-15 seconds) and having very vivid mini-dreams, like of me and my classmates fighting a dragon. It made the act of actually going to a boring class somewhat worthwhile.

I've never really tried to force myself to stay awake for very long. I could drink copious amounts of caffeine, I suppose.. Without some sort of stimulant I don't think I convince myself not to lay down. Mini-dreams are good...

It sounds sort of like 'The Langoliers', but that was merely a fictionalized account based on true events.

Those damn French. They honestly thought their Γ©lan would simply prevail, and they charged into battles still using horse-mounted pikemen and all the while thinking the war would be one at the end of a bayonet.
Go go gadget history lessons.

especially the rather elaborately doodled title on page 2, which is such a touching expression of you desperately trying to stay awake.

If you say so, although i really shouldnt talk as i am about the only person who can decipher my own chiken scratch. Im glad you like that flick, i have a soft spot for ralph bakshi, although he produced quite the tonnage of crap in his lifetime. What really endears me to that film are the character designs and the ending is unrivaled. I think Bakshi was the most forward thinking animator in america, although he never made enough of an impact to shake the industry from the filthy coils of disney hegemony. Btw, If you watch the movie and drink each time theres a continuity error, youll be drunk within 15 minuets. heh, actually that would make an exellent drinking game, i must try it with my fellow animator chums.

indiana jones totally stole that ending. i'll try that game once i hit drinking age. and, bakshi loses a little because thomas kinkade was inspired to do his cottages while working for him.

ugh, i dintknow that. It counts against him, but no less than his ripping off robert crumb for fritz the cat. Although he did pay crumb back (a decade or so later), it was only a quzai legal production at best. personaly, i like the film. Oh, and lets not forget the original spider man cartoon while were at it.
