My mom was JUST telling me this. That I should spend more time "outdoors" and "socialize" so I can live a "normal" life...
I wish my family can understand that this is how I socialize, and I'm very much fulfilled by it. It doesn't make me a crazy shut-in!

This is really the biggest flaw in those who speak against the internet's, argument. The people on the other end are real. Even if they are hiding who they really are, a living person is still behind that screen. And eventually you get to know them. And with the internet we can meet people we'd never have had the chance to meet irl because they live far away.
