Behold Cloudchaser. In the clouds. Chasing not pictured.I tried something different with her wings. Not sure if I like it or not, so I'm putting it up for the World to see. You think this is a style worth refining?
It's nice to be back in the game. Been a long time since I finished something, so this Cloudchaser is sort of a warmup drawing. Been a lot of stuff going on for me lately, so drawing kind of took a lower priority. Well, here's hoping it'll pick up again. I think I can do better than this one. Rather, I know I can. But I've gotten rusty, so this is what I have today.

Good job. Yes, you need a bit of catching up, but it's not as bad as you think. You did a fine job, considering the skill level that you demonstrated on previous pieces.

Yeah, my pony faces need work again, and I need to watch out for the pony anatomy some more, but I'd hazard to say that the body shape on this one can hang with my better ones from before. It just looks right. And I know exactly what it is that works with this one that didn't in some of my earlier ones.

I think I need to make the feathers look flatter, but I do want to see if I can make something of this style.
And yeah, this one isn't half-bad. I can do better, but I'm happy with this one.

Thanks. Cloudchaser is a fun pony to draw. Her mane and tail styles are just adorable, yet not too difficult to get right.
I'll try to do better next time, though. That wing design just isn't... complete yet.
