Right, right. This was my last-week's submission for We Art Something [link] , which, by the way, still could use more commenting watchers, eh, eh? Just goofy conversation (or suggestion?) comments are fine, since they'd really help us to get hyped up to do even more goofy stuff and actually get our weekly picture done, haw.You don't have to be a member of LiveJournal, either. Just comment as Anonymous. Though signing with your name so that we know who did it would be rad.
But, yeah, anyway. Ballpoint pen catty person. Color-tinted in Photoshop.

|^^| ..I wanted to color it at first, but then I couldn't decide on HOW to color it, and I also didn't want the pen-lines to vanish behind the coloring. Thus, plain ballpointer.

Yeah, it doesn't work with most cheap ballpoint pens. The one I use is some kinda brand, metal pen, refillable. You have to be reallyREALLY careful with the lines when sketching stuff out, in lots of soft layers. In the end I define the lines I like best with bolder strokes.

I was trying to get some cheerfulness into that one. |^^| Looking over Yerf, it seems like there's next to no lovable cartoonish "mascot" characters anymore, just super-well-defined "serious"... well, furry art. I miss the innocent-silly cartoony stuff. I know it's still there, but. Er. I'm sure you know what I mean.
