I was watching a playthrough of the Genocide route in Undertale (welp, I sort of covered my eyes and skipped some of the major deaths cause...I just couldn't), and then came the fight with Sans.

Now, Sans is my favorite character. I prefer a happy ending where everyone is, welp, happy...but I've got to admit that he's pretty badass in that fight.

Back on topic, I paid more attention to the dialogue in the fight (the entire reason I watched the playthrough of the Genocide route was for the dialogue to drop hints about the characters) than the actual fight...

...though I'll admit, it's sort of nice to see Sans trounce anyone doing that route cause he's the hero in the Genocide route (yes, I root for him)...

...and he reveals that he's lazy because of depression, really. He knows about the resets and time-space and the timelines, and has just started to accept that nothing he does matters because the timeline will just be reset and nobody will remember it as they repeat it over and over again.

...I really felt bad. It's like...someone just give Sans a hug! He's laughing all the time, but not on the inside.
This is what's preventing me from resetting the game to name the human "Frisk" to try the ruins on hard mode. Yes, I got emotionally attached to the characters...I don't care!

So, Frisk gives Sans a hug and promises not to reset the timeline after the True Pacifist ending.

Notes on the drawing: I tried again to get the "sketchy" look I was going for in my last drawing. I think I did it a little better this time. And, yea...Sans is wearing gloves. I read somewhere that he wears gloves...so there it is. And it's not just because I failed miserably when I tried to draw a skeleton hand. >.>
