Description i made this purposefully so that the viewer is almost confused as to if they are looking from above the surface of the water or below it.

This is a painting you should send to musky hunter magazine.

This is a very good painting, the light across the environment and the fish is accurate.

thats amazing!! Minnesota is one place i'd really really like to try out for fishing.. i hear walleye and muskies are quite prevalent there. do any ice fishing?

Yeah, pretty much everything is prevalent here. Smallmouth fishing is also very good.

I have never done much ice fishing I'm much more a casting guy so it drives me kind of crazy just thinking about it.

you ever try it?

awesome! i'm all about ice fishing! if you've never tried it, do yourself a favor and give it a chance (or two) dress warm and you wont have to worry about being that cold, actually if the wind isn't blowing hard it can be extremely warm.. yesterday i pulled a 30" pike through the ice (which is decent for pennsylvania) i take an annual fishing trip to canada for large northerns and walleye. so i'm getting plans ready now for that.

I absolutely love your style. It's very realistic, yet you can still tell you're looking at a painting. It reminds me of the old Lynn Bogue Hunt illustrations on the covers of Field & Stream in the 1940s. Beautiful and timeless work!

This is really cool! The pike group of fishes is by far my favourite I love how believable the water is in all your paintings.. it just looks so wet and real, as do the fish! Well done!
