Description
This is just a Photoshop quickie of myself cosplaying Claire AGAIN, lol. I've been struggling with some loneliness based depression again for the past few days a little more so than usual. This was just a quick way to vent it, I don't have the proper supplies to do a regular expressionistic drawing right now. I was thinking about someone/feeling lonely when I was posing for this, so I figured this was a fitting vent. Interesting, because Simmaria has it titled "Thinking of Steve"...maybe he picked up on the emotion. The original photo was taken by Simmaria, you can view it here [link] I like the original better, lol...Simmaria has a good eye with the camera so take a look at his gallery.
Seems like Claire is always left alone to survive, she was split apart from Leon at the start of Resident Evil 2, and Steve died in her arms in Resident Evil Code Veronica...I've said it before and I'll say it again, Claire needs a man

Your cosplay is amazing. You're really pretty and you look so much like Claire it's uncanny.
I hope things pick up for you soon.

Hey hottie
haha
Great picture but I dunno if I would have gone so strong with the neon glow blue effect thing.
It does have a cool effect... maybe balance it out by airbrushing, very slightly, the reds on your outfit?
*shurg*
I just woke up too

Lol...you aren't so bad yourself .
I agree...I used hard mix a little too much which made it more "neon". I wasn't trying too hard though either, I just wanted to do something fast as an emotional vent. My mouse also isn't working and I did this on my laptop with the touch pad, lol...AWKWARD .

Its good to see you posting again don't ever feel like you're posting too many Claire pics, I never get tired of seeing them. I don't get how you or her have any trouble finding a man. SERIOUSLY!

Thanks for the kind response . What's hard about finding someone, for me and anyone else...is finding the RIGHT one. One that not only lives up to standards (within reason, I'm not idealistic about it), but one who I'm attracted to on different levels, who's also attracted to me in the same ways. It's tough, but it's worth holding out for
.
I have a few more photos I'll upload soon (maybe after the weekend) that Bart Boy took at Fanime. I wore the RE2 alternate to that con...I forgot the black top for the CV one so I had to do the alt all weekend XD.

Very nice photo and very adequate postwork! Although I really don't like to read that you're not on top of things, I really like the pics you're creating in this mood.
Perhaps it would help to do something less...dark? Just a thought. Keep it up!

I've just been going through more emotional stuff lately...the good news is I'm completely over my ex!! Bad news is...things are not too great besides that XD. Doing dark pieces helps get it out of me though, it doesn't cause me to brood...I do the work then move on. I did do a slightly less dark one that I put up almost right after tonight, it's a contrast pic that symbolizes overcoming in a sense. You have to be feeling a positive emotion to do an honest positive piece, and I'm fishing for positive feelings...the best I can come up with to counter the bad is "fight it!" lol. My emotions have stages, like most people's probably do...mine go from feeling alone and beat down, weary, and then to anger and resolve/overcome. Then it usually levels out to indifference, if things don't end up working out anyway. Obviously if they do the feelings level out to contentment and a sense of happiness and energy. Recently in life things HAVE NOT been working out, and I keep having to stay strong and try to keep my head. Well, anyways I'll stop being Dr. Phil here...lol.

Oh, I know exactely what you mean...my stages vary from problem-> anger-> solution/no solution -> more anger/what the fuck do I care to problem-> ignore it till it goes away.
But basically anger is involved. I do a lot of training when I have problems to vent all the anger - which mostly works out quite okay.
And I can agree with the mood thing. Dark mood gets brilliant dark pictures (Ridley Scott mourning for his dead brother and seriously pissed off by American film crew equals Blade Runner. Any questions?)
And if it's helping you getting out o' there then do it - absolutely do it. So we can enjoy your art and you're getting better. I call this a win-win!

Haha, well thanks.
Training helps me too, I just have trouble motivating myself to train on my own when I'm depressed, and my work situation is still up in the air so I can't afford Karate . The only real energy comes when I reach the anger stage, but it's an inward based energy that just makes me intense and seethe...then I get tired from getting all worked up before I can vent it through training. Anger is often involved with me too, I've been feeling a frustration based anger ALLOT lately, then I get angrier at the fact I'm frustrated to begin with...lol. I AM a lose-lose situation sometimes XD. It'll get better though, life can't suck forever right?
I'm glad I'm not immortal...LOL.

I was running a full marathon towards the end of my unemloyment three times a week and was still full frustration energy, so yeah, I know what you mean! But be assured this will pass. I have a great job now (and can't run anymore than 4 miles without getting a heartattack ).
You will come around, too, I'm sure!
