Description
Made from paper mache, coated with paper clay with wooden napkin ring holders for the eyes and mouth. Painted with acrylics and sealed with polyeurothane. In hindsight, I wish I had sanded it a bit more so it was a bit smoother, but then again, why would San have sandpaper?Related content

Yup! I love this thing, tho I may repaint it later so it's a bit more ruddy. We'll see, I happen to get lazy when doing my own props, haha!

wooden napkin rings seem to be a very popular thing to make they eyes and mouth out of xD i know i used them and have found 2 others on da that have also used them. i like how shiny yours is and i agree about the sandpaper, why would a girl who lives in the forest with the wolves have sandpaper OR be concerned with making her mask perfect?

I suddenly feel like I need to take another stab at painting this...When I was working on the mask I was so stressed--my workspace at the time was in a tent, and the summer heat was making everything dry instantly. Thankfully I moved and now have a room in the garage that's a lot more insulated and I can take my time with painting.
BTW, napkin rings are completely mandatory for San masks, haha!

Love the shiny look, and really dig those triangle-shaped holes around the eyes. Very unique, and makes sense for airflow & visual effect~
