After lots of thinking, I finally decided that I like being a firebender most, especially since I grew up telling myself I was a fire nation girl.

Good Traits: very strategic, cunning, and manipulative. A good liar and very charming. Can be sweet and gentile to those she cares about, defending them with her life.

Flaws: stubborn, indecisive at times, controlling, and hates losing. Lies too often and tries to detach herself from others to avoid being close with anyone. She chooses only to care for herself so that she doesn't have to worry about others around her.

When dealing with dangerous opponents, she gets up and personal and uses her chi-blocking skills she learned while pretending to be an equalist to stun her opponent and finish them with her bending.

Mother: Ruka - one of the Fire Nation's most powerful women. Very influental for a civil rights movement going on for the women of the Fire Nation. Is apart of a women council which includes the Firelord's wife.
Father: Li - is apart of the Fire Nation's military council, being of noble blood. His grandfather served as one of the commanders who discussed strategies with the Firelord during the war. He was highly against disrupting the peace of the nations, but was unable to speak out without threatening his family's lives.
Siblings: none
Notable Relatives: paternal grandparents, Zora and Ren. Both were close with Firelord Zuko and helped him and Aang build the Republic City.
Closest Friends: Mara - her panda-sloth, Hiro - Earthbender best friend, and Kouta - waterbender best friends. She is a probender with Hiro and Kouta.
Pet/Companion: Mara, a panda-sloth that Din was given when she was 14. Long-living animals that originated in the forests of the Fire Nation. She is about the size of a large house-cat and is the shape of a sloth with panda colors. Their personalities are rather upbeat and cheery, but they are very protective of their owners, often becoming vicious toward anyone who attacks them. They are rather slow, but have razor sharp teeth and claws, as well as some abilities to manipulate fire around them, though though they cannot create fire on their own.

Din is from Republic City, but her family was apart of royal aristocracy during the Fire Nation's prime. They were against the Fire Lord, but could not speak out against him without fear of death. Din's father's grandfather was apart of the council that discussed war plans.

After the war ended, her family remained in the Fire Nation. Din decided to move to the Republic City because she was tired of being treated like royalty. She had an attraction to getting dirty and working for her money. She ended up leaving to work as a broker in the crime area of the city, getting paid to tell information to anyone who wants it. For a little extra cash, she'd even go track them down.

Her best friends are Hiro, an earthbender, and Kouta, a waterbender. They're on a probending team known as the Vendetta Vipers.
