Keyblades have at least some inherent magic. So even if they donβt have the sort of inherent type advantage it does against Heartles I think itβll still work as a weapon fighting Grimm.

I was just curious since, well, they dispel darkness, and Grimm are creatures of darkness, so it made sense that theyΒ΄d work pretty well on those.
LetΒ΄s just hope Ruby doesnΒ΄t snatch that thing from Sora.

I wouldnβt say Grimm are specifically Darkness, but very Darkness adjacent.
Grimm are apparently born of malice. At least in accordance to their need to destroy given why the Younger Brother made them.
Iβm not 100% sure if KH Darkness works exactly like that, but it is stated Heartless feel and are made of negative emotions. So itβs very possible the Keyblade could hurt Grimm under similar rules given that Malice falls under the negative emotion umbrella.
