August was really disappointing month for me, since I wasn't able to go on any of my planned expeditions. Furthermore chances of finding something extraordinary are getting slimmer with each passing week, but what can you do. But there's still hope.

In the meantime here's something a bit different. It's rhododendron leafhopper Graphocephala fennahi, that I found quite fittingly on rhododendron. I've been observing them for few years in our garden and every time I see one I'm fascinated by their colors. This is one of many invasive species I came across over the years. It's indigenous to North America and was introduced to Europe in the 70's, which I totally knew before writing this.
