My favorite is Quake 2, because Quake 1 was essentially just Doom with awesome graphic.

Yes that is true. But also one of the reasons why I prefer Quake 1 is the nostalgia and I think it's single player was better which is important part since we never got a change play those games in multiplayer, even though they are much better in multiplayer modes

I must say I hate multiplayer, I only play singleplayer games.
